so today i went to the music store to get book 2. you know, as something to look forward to. any way, over at music and arts (you would think they were sponsoring me for how much i mention them here), i perused the store for all sorts of future hard core saxophone solos.
when i finally just landed on book 2, i was asked whether i was a student or a teacher.
"well, i'm teaching myself?" i shrugged.
the man responded, "ahh, so you're the teacher AND the student."
i chuckled.
"in that case," he said. "you get the teacher discount."
aww shucks!
